What brought you to yoga? We love a good origin story.
I was working in the city and every single day I would check Anali's Next Amendment Blog...it listed free, outdoor yoga classes all over Boston! I would fly out of the office and race across town, any corner of town, just to take a class. The best part was that I didn’t have to worry about being a few moments late or any sort of drop in fee, I wasn’t ready to invest in a studio and I was a way beginner!! This blog was my bible, if there was a class I was there; morning, noon or night! Most incredible yoga I have every experienced with the most amazing views!
How would you describe your teaching flow?
Care-free...out of all the heavy things in this world, your practice should not be one of them. We laugh, we dance, we have fun!
Music Preferences? What is always on your playlist? Favorite artist?
Music is my THING. New playlists, new artists, moody covers, all the feels.
What was your most memorable yoga experience?
I was in Savasana during a class at Bonnaroo...Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) started playing Oceans, warming up for his set later that night. So many tears!!!
Any teacher shoutouts? Favorite yoga teacher?
Anna Paiva - she continuously inspires and challenges me, she is a LIFE FORCE.
FAVORITES
The Ocean - for all its mood-swings and healing properties!
My Potions - the ocean is indeed the biggest potion, but I have an obsession with mixing up my essential oils into the most luxurious of elixirs!
Music - whether it be flowing/creating on my mat, driving aimlessly in my car, or dance-cleaning my house; music is my release, I got lost in it for hours.
Law & Order SVU - that is all.
